Werksmans is pleased to announce that Michael Honiball has joined us a Director and will be heading up the firm’s International Tax Practice. Michael was formally a partner in the Tax Department of Webber Wentzel and was Head of the International Tax Team.
With extensive international and corporate tax advisory experience, Michael has a wide portfolio of both corporate and high net wealth individual clients.
Prior to Webber Wentzel, he was a partner at KPMG South Africa, where he headed up first the International Tax Department, and subsequently the Transfer Pricing Department.
Michael is an attorney and conveyancer of the High Court of South Africa and is also a Professor at the University of Johannesburg, where he lectures in tax law and transfer pricing. Furthermore, Michael is a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
